Week 55

We finally signed the final papers on the house and now the real payments start. It took six weeks to get my final draw because the bank sent it to the builder where it sat on his porch for five weeks. It took another week to clear in checking. We still have a lot to do around the house. The area still looks like a construction zone and it will take a while to clean up all of the trees, dirt, and building materials. We are hanging things on the walls and trying to get back into a routine.

All in all, this past year has been very busy but I feel it has been worth it. We now have a place of our own that is secluded and quiet with a great view. Thanks for following along with this project and thanks for all of the nice comments.
